Instructions
  1. Toss the scallops with the butter or olive oil and cook under a preheated broiler or in a skillet over high heat just until the scallops are firm and opaque, 1 to 3 minutes, depending on size.
  2. Combine the mayonnaise, lemon juice and cucumber in a bowl and stir to combine.
  3. Serve the scallops with the sauce on the side.
